Seedorf Hopes To Recover In Time For Benfica

Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf is trying to accelerate his recovery in order to be on the field against Benfica on Wednesday evening.

After missing out Sunday's Serie A clash against Cagliari, Seedorf has no intention of being unavailable for the Champions League match against Benfica.

"I trained on Monday and I feel better," declared the Dutch player. "I think that I can already be on the pitch on Wednesday against Benfica."

Seedorf watched Ronaldo make his comeback on Sunday, in a game in which he drew positive reviews from all critics.

"I saw him do well, very well. He played for 90 minutes and remained fresh until the end," he opined.

The Milan midfielder is looking forward to Saturday evening's high-profile match against Juventus.

"It will be a great game and we shall see on the pitch two healthy teams. This is proved by Sunday's wins," he concluded.
