Ronaldo Tells Ancelotti: I Am Ready

Milan superstar Ronaldo has declared that he is ready to step onto the field and is expecting to play against Cagliari this weekend.

El Fenomeno has not featured this season due to injury but he returned to training two weeks ago and was in the Milan squads for the matches against Shakhtar Donetsk and Atalanta.

In the game at Bergamo it was planned for him to come on as a second-half substitute, however due to violence in the stands the match was abandoned after just eight minutes.

“I am ready,” Ronaldo stated on Milan channel.

“At Bergamo I was called-up because I was ready and now I wait for another call-up because I feel ready to play.”

The 31-year-old played in a United Nations charity match on Monday evening, organised to raise money for anti-poverty projects in Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia and South America.

"Yes, I'm really happy. It was very beautiful because this friendly game has proven to be a great success,” said Ronaldo.

“I must thank all the people who in the last three weeks have purchased all the tickets. I also want to thank all the sponsors and especially the players who have proven to be helpful for this event. It was a nice evening."
